Water Quality Protection
ELF works to protect water quality using laws such as Prop 65, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Wild & Scenic Rivers Act, and the Public Trust Doctrine.  ELF has a Trust Fund established to "protect water quality" throughout California.  ELF is using those funds to investigate threats to water quality from extractive industries, from toxins in public drinking water supplies, and contaminants in other drinking water sold to the public.
