GROUPS SEEK TO HALT BUSH ADMINISTRATION RULES RE: FOREIGN TRUCKS ON U.S. HIGHWAYS

 

WASHINGTON, DC -- On Wednesday, May 1st, a coalition of environmental, labor and industry groups will file a lawsuit to prevent the Bush Administration from allowing foreign trucks that do not meet environmental standards on United States streets and highways. The suit demands environmental review of the regulations.

The suit will be filed in San Francisco Federal Court on Wednesday, May 1st.
